No.

Would you like to pay another 60+k to get your airbags redone?Even when you were not sitting in you car.

Rather have something that deploys the airbags only when there are passengers.

Standalone airbags---->I dont think so.

Bad crash.

Could the airbags have not been deployed because seatbelts were obviously not being used.Does not the system work like that no seatbelts,no airbags.

when its parked, and locked, and the key is not inside the ignition, i think the car assumes that there is no one in the car. Also, the bumper seems to be intact. If it were me, i would get the airbag deployment sensor re-armed again.

Doesn't Skoda detect weight on seat before deploying airbags?
