Guys try chur chur nan at prem/ param di hathi (don't remember the correct name) at rajouri garden. They have two branches one which is in main market rajouri and other one is between rajouri garden and tagore garden metro station. A plate of chur chur nan will cost you 55 bucks, and they have aloo, paneer nan with chole as well along with chole bathure. Really awesome in taste.

Ate only once at Gola's in Dwarka, was pretty bad experience. At one time Moet's had excellent sizzlers.

I'd been their customer since the time it used to be right near the Vishal Cinema turn.. (15 years or so), but only to accompany someone who used to love that food.

Seriously, they're too bland!

Thanks for your review, we were thinking of trying it.

On the other hand, we have been enjoying the food of "J W Mirage" in the same mall (building rather) for last few years, even yesterday got the food delivered (at my place in Rohini, not Gurgaon ).

Oh yes! We were to go at JW Mirage itself (frequenting there for last 2 years).. but went at GPW (ground level).

Metro Tadka

Hi Guys,

Had a lovely vegetarian meal at Metro Tadka at Sector 57, Gurgaon. Its a small restaurant located on 2nd floor at in the SRS Mall in Sector 57. We tried their Rajasthani Thali and it was actually yum. In fact we were planning to go to our favorite Yo China but realized that it is Tuesday and we have only Veg food on Tuesday, hence tried this new restaurant "Metro Tadka". Their main specialty are thalis: "Rajasthani" and "Punjabi". Since Punjabi thali had familiar dishes hence we tried Rajasthani one, it had familiar Rajasthani dishes such as Kadhi, Ker Sengri, Bati, Choorma etc. It was good and tasted authentic Rajasthani.

Total cost for meal for 3 - INR 700. Not bad I must say.

Hence, if you are looking for nice clean vegetarian meal in Gurgaon, head to this place.

Re: A Guide: Eating out in Delhi/NCR

Churchur naan is there also at Not Just Parathas in GK-II m block market, but its at a different price point (not a corresponding quality increase).

Tried Cafe Bikaner, in Bikaner House at Pandara Road, India Gate (where all RTDC buses leave from). They have a tasty veg thali option for Rs.250. There is lal maas available also but that didn't taste great (though the cuts of mutton were huge). Any other place in Delhi where I can get lal maas?

IMHO Nero's in the main road (MI rd) is the best.

So i answer a question you haven't asked In Delhi you can try the laal maas at Cafe Bikaner in Bikaner house at India Gate/Pandara Road, where one catches the buses to Jaipur.

In other news for Kebab lovers, Tunday Kebabi has opened up a branch in Lajpat Nagar 4/Amar Colony market.
