Not sure if you mean latest or new movies. But, some movies i feel are collectors item ( have them in my collection, hence that feeling) are:-

Comedy
A Dinner Game ( French movie, copied as Bheja Fry but no patch to original)
Odd Couple 2 ( I found every dialogue of this movie hilarious)
Any Steve Martin movie ( maybe you will like Bowfinger, Trains, Planes and Automobiles)

Thriller ( Mostly have Quentin Tarantino/Ritchie Films)
Almost all movies by QT like Kill Bill Series, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Dusk till Dawn etc)
Snatch, Lock Stock Two Smoking Barrels
Black Hawk Dawn
Alive ( True story of argentanian footballers stuck on icy mountains and in desperation eat their friends.....)
Collateral Damage

Horror
I am an ardent horror fan, so have a bunch of movies right from Jeeper Creepers series, Wrong Turn, Hills Have Eyes series, Hostel, Saw, Shutter, Texas Chainsaw Massacre etc.

Whew! i will list some more later

Dilli-6

A ho-hum movie. Appears to be a movie with no head nor tail till it goes into a patriotic mode via monkey man !!

The movie is long and slow but it is redeemed by some very fine acting. Rishi Kapoor, Om Puri, Vijay Raaz, Pawan Malhotra and the girl who plays the un-married bua. But for me the stand-out performance comes from Sonam Kapoor. I am in love with her. She is simply superb in the movie.

And expectedly the weakest link in the movie is Abhishek Bachchan. Same expressions and a monotonous fake American accent. He is the pits.

The music is nothing great but a couple of songs are used well in situations in the movie.

Verdict - 2/5 - out of which Sonam gets 1.5.

I agree for once with Varun.

EDIT - I forgot to add that there is a never ending Ram Leela in parts - :O

Watched Delhi 6 today. It could have been such a great movie. The idea is great, the execution sucks. It would have worked in a theater but not on the silver screen.
Actually the movie is a satire, but the director has not been able to really potray what he wanted to.
What the movie says is this
Delhi is full of bad people, dirty roads, chaos, hatred, violence, greed, deceit... but inspite of all that people want to live here. In every person here is hidden a monkeyman, who wants to hurt and harm. One person comes and tries to show them a mirror.
Unfortunately, what could have been a brilliant satire on the entire circus, it turned out to be dragging. There is nothing in the movie that holds interest. The climax looks cliched, and the director has tried to make his lead character a little too goodie two shoes.
When you make a satire, you go all the way and really make a satire. Not go halfway and then try and make it a bhai bhai bhaichara and all that stuff movie.
As for love angle, its like they wanted to have a heroine so that family audiences do not go away

Will the superstar remember his old friend?

SRK plays SRK (in a hugely self glorified avtaar with a jacket that says KING KHAN in chains - ughh) while Irfan plays the barber.

SRK has nothing to do but do item numbers and a couple of stunt sequences. Also he starts off quite irrritatingly with the speech in the climax but finishes superbly. Irfan Khan is brilliant (watch him in the end with his kids) , Lara doesn't look like a villager but as an actress is competent. The rest of Priyadarshan's favorite cast is also there - Asrani (wasted), Rajpal (wasted and too irritating) , Om Puri (good as usual) and the other barber in the nukkad mix (good).

Music is not worth while the cinematography and production are good. The SFX are tacky. The direction felt as if on remote - felt as if we have watched the characters on the same kind of sets and similar get ups in Priyan's earlier movie.

Verdict - 2/5
- Watch it absolutely if you have time to spare or are a huge SRK / Irfan fan.

Saw Billu?

I havent seen the original but Billu was real good. Irfan did a good job. Srinivasan is unique, his stories, his acting. And now his son.

Yup. Nice movie. "Santhosh Subramaniam" was another movie of similar nature.

Watched the movie "October Sky" yesterday. Nice screenplay. True story about the rocket boys.

The Devil wears Prada

A movie starring Meryl Streep as the emotionless queen of a fashion magazine who keeps her assistants on their toes quite literally, bossing them around. Anne Hathaway plays the role of the assistant who wants to use her experience with the magazine to help her journalist career.

Very very predictable storyline which doesnt leave one guessing even one bit. Good performance by Meryl, while Anne seems to have used a lot of garish makeup for the role.

Basic timepass, and nothing else.

Pink Panther 2

Steve Martin is back in his role as Inspector Clouseau. The Tornado strikes again by stealing ancient artifacts from various locations across the world including the famed Pink Panther diamond again. This time a team of detectives from around the world are hired to solve the mystery and Clouseau is appointed head of the 'Dream Team'. What follows is a laugh riot on how the mystery gets solved with Clouseau's stupid antics.

Steve Martin is fantastic in the role of Inspector Clouseau. I just love the French accent he uses. Watch out for the scene where he takes on the Pope. The rest of the detective team is funny too. Aishwarya has a proper role in this movie as she plays one of the detectives. Not a wink and you miss her type of role. And yes she is looking gorgeous.

Definately worth a watch
