Nitrous has a long way to go. I had seen atleast 5-6 guys who had watched this movie for 5 times till last show. Also they hold ticket for tomorrow noon show in Sathyam Theatre. Remember this movie was released only on Friday (exclude the preview show on Thursday night)

I loved the costumes in all the songs (esp - maji maji sivaji). Another blockbuster from the SUPERSTAR

The blue one in the song Bol na Halke Halke is the Jaguar. (XK190) which one.. another blue one in the movie where he sits with Huffy Bhai is a Cadillac Eldorado.

The movie is AWESOME! The grandeur and the quality of the movie is typical Director Shankar's. Although the movie is long at around 3 hrs +, nobody was bored at any point of time.
The movie like any Shankar's movie has a good message for the every Indian citizen .Rajni looks 20 years younger and this movie's oozes of his STYLE.
Movie goers who aren't Rajni fans will love the song videos, the plot and the movie as a package.
PS: Im watching the movie again tomorrow.
shame :P I watched it on Friday 8am !

awesome movie. hats off to sankar, manish. Shreya loos gorgeous thanks to manish.

Rajni of course rulez.

Felt funny when he used the Toyota to play Hummer's role.

Successfully finished my 3rd darshan of the movie.
My pilgrimage will continue though.
Manish Malhotra has done a FANTASTIC job with the costumes.

Well, I went on the first day for US release on Friday. I guess I expected too much. No question, the songs, locations and the costumes are simply mindblowing, but the story is a mix of Shankar formula and Rajini formula with nothing really new.

My favourite was the song in which our man cruises in a Honda Valkarye.

Rajini definetly looks younger and more fresh. Rajini's dialoges and one liners are good but I expected better comedy from Vivek. You guys should have seen the fanatical screaming and confetti throwing that was happening there.

Nope... not BEST. Its BMTC, Bangalore.
Yes he was know of stylish ways of issuing tickets. And he still has his connection with his friend who was the driver of that bus.

And he too came on the screen for one song in Rajini's previous movie "CHANDRAMUKI".

And that driver has rejected Rajini's proposal of setting a business for him at Chennai as he felt that it will spoil their relationship.

Vid, I didnt know you were a Rajni fan!!
You mentioned your friend booked the entire show for 67K. Guess what... a scanned copy of that bill was doing the rounds as a forward among some members of my team in my office. Will try to get it and put it up here.

I stay near Innovative Multiplex and was literally shocked to see the commotion there; but then i remembered Shivaji.

I was in Kerala this weekend, and quite a lot of theatres were playing Shivaji even there. I was amazed at the craze.

Gautam (N_C) : You sure Rajni is a Marathi? Now, thats news for me!!

Yes, he is a Marathi, brought up in Bangalore and now he rules TN...I saw the movie first day last show (10pm) at Innovative Multiplex, the rush was too much to handle...though the movie went on for 3 hours, it kept everyone awake!
