What happened to Javed Akthar type of lyrics? I think lyrics of these times have too much of Eminem and Snoop Dogg's bhoot in them
Have a look at some of 'Rock On!!'s lyrics...

Imagine a southie with almost zero knowledge of Hindi watching a movie filled with Punjabi dialogues? Well, That is me.
I understood about maybe 20 words from the entire movie and still walked out thinking "decent, not bad".
Definitely watchable once.
Singh is King.
PS: Expected Manmeet, Gogi and Raghvinder to come onscreen. But, unfortunately, I was disappointed.

It is indeed disappointing, hence no review from a die-hard rajini fan

Even Bruce Almighty was pretty boring and one of many of Jim Carrey's paycheck movies.

Wall-E :
WALL·E (2008)
Pixar has done it again. They have outdone themselves once more with this movie. Wall-E is the story of a tiny robot, that runs around on Earth that has been deserted by humans 700 years ago. One day a space probe, EVE, lands on earth and turns Wall-E's world upside down and embarks Wall-E upon a space journey that will, well, eventually end up saving mankind. The movie has no underlying lessons or messages or meanings. Its just a plane and simple love story, but done so remarkably well that you will not forget the experience of watching this movie for a long long time.

You Dont Mess With the Zohan:
Starring Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider
You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008)
Well, this movie is so extremely ridiculous that its funny! Adam Sandler is an Israeli secret agent who fakes his own death in order to escape to New York and become a hair dresser. The humor kinda reminds you of Austin Powers series. If you liked that, you might like this one too, but not to the same level. In some scenes, you might think that Rajnikant was the inspiration. e.g. when Adam Sandler catches a bullet with his right nostril, or when he controls his chopped off hand with his mind to take the knife and plunge it into the enemy's back. Anyway, you can enjoy this movie only if you are looking for silliness.

I think its scheduled to release in theaters on August 29th, in India, according to inoxmovies dot com, although the movie was released somewhere near end of June everywhere else.

Btw, just because its animation, doesnt mean its a movie for kids.
