I Think I love my wife:
I Think I Love My Wife (2007)
Nice movie, its about what you do when chance presents itself.
My rating: 6/10

Death Proof:
Death Proof (2007)
Tarantino
The movie is a litle slow, takes all the time to simply get a story on.
However when the movie accelarates, it blows everything away.
The story can be taken in two parts.
The ending of both of them make this movie: neat
My Rating: 7/10

I totally agree with amitoj. This movie has been overrated. The movie is long and also Russel crowe is the better actor in the movie compared to denzel washington. The story is nice and for people who like movies like trainspotting this can be watched as its like the edited version of such movies. The movie as a whole package does not keep you glued to your seats and at times you will be squirming in your seats and switching on your mobile. Overrated movie and i give it 2.5/5 The low rating is because of the pace of the movie. People were shocked as to why both were not nominated for oscars. I feel they dont deserve it for this movie. They have done better in other movies

Well, Ridley Scott picked up the right script but thats about it. The movie barely seems to move in the first half.
Denzel Washington did not do justice to his role. Russell Crowe was much better though.
All in all, the movie doesnt give you anything to take away from it. Its all been-there-done-that kind of stuff.
I would give it a 5/10.
And the movie was also only 2hr15mins long, as compared to the original uncut version which is 2hr37mins long. I wonder if it was the censor board who got scissor happy or PVR?

aZa, maddy, how long was the one that you saw?

Show Cars today.Very lovely movie.A much watch I should say.
And I just loved the dialog regarding the old winding road " Cars didn't drive on it to make great time, they drove on it to have great time". Aah can't I relate this to the drives on smaller beautiful highways to the boring fast Expressways !!

"Mithya" is getting decent reviews in the print media. I also think that it will be a good watch. Vinay Pathak and Ranvir Shorey are too good to miss.

One movie I've watched atleast 4-5 times. Pretty funny! And for once,Vin Diesel acts well.

Hope to catch some classics this weekend- Force 10 from Navarone & Guns of Navarone..

Just back from a back to back session of movie watching.

MITHIYA
- Nice thriller with a touch of comedy. The movie is held togather by its superb cast. Ranveer, Vinay, Naseer...everyone is rocking. The movie feels low budget though and it could have had a beter soundtrack (background)

Verdict - 2.75/5

SUPERSTAR - I quite liked the movie. Based in Bollywood and the hero with a double role. But this movie still works. Kunla Khemu is very very good in the movie, has acted well in both roles. Its a emotional thriller. The editing should have been a bit crisper I feel. At times the movie tends to drag. Overall a good effort by the director who made "JAMES"

Verdict - 3/5
