Killed for a 15000 Personal loan!?

ICICI sucks... me got Loans with these guys for a flat and one car. I will never do business with them after hearing such things. Crazy !!!

how come no news channel is reporting such news ? ( or have i missed it )

yday most channels were reporting " paris hilton's release from jail "

strange is the priority list of news channels as to what needs to be given priority

I guess you missed it. This news has been beaten to death by almost all news channel.

Me too.
I applied for a car loan on a Friday at the Ford dealership, as i was told they clear things in 2 days, compared to SBI which takes 5 working days.
The ICICI verification guys visited my house on following Monday for verification and spoke to my wife. My wife left for Bangalore for 4 days that evening.
On Wednesday, I read in the papers that interest charges are going to be hiked. Nobody from the dealership or ICICI had an idea of my loan.
The bas*** approved my loan only on Friday, with 1% hike, leading to a loss of 10 k to me.
I shall never do business with these blighters again.

RBI and banking ombudsmen have issued notice to ICICI seeking explanation as per Hindu bangalore edition
Yesterday rediff put it as headline (that APHRC asks police to register case against ICICI) and within 10 minutes removed it altogether
