You can watch Love Per Square Foot; a nice romcom short series (1 hr 20min).

Haha; well put. I echo that sentiment. I feel cheated when a season ends without closure

While the series is pretty good overall; I think most of it has been carried by Nawazuddin and Jeetendra Joshi.

Watched Twisted S01 & S02 recently. A typical Vikram Bhatt romantic thriller. I would give it 3/5 rating. Nia Sharma looks good and has acted fine as well.

Trial & Error.
Highly recommended if you like clean comedies. Some dialogues are quite delightful.

Yellowstone
Quite refreshing from the usual stuff I see. Not a typical Westerner but pretty close. Solid solid drama with top notch acting. Also starts one of my favorite Kevin Costner.

Started Cocaine Coast. Its available on Netflix.

While it may sound similar to all drug trafficking teleseries, I feel this is different. Set in Spain and based on true events, I think this is different. And really like the opening credit score

Rating: 4.5/5

Dropping recommendation for an UK TV series that I have just finished watching.

Line of Duty.
It's a well researched & executed story-line with top notch performances.
The character development is typical of any series from UK. Slow and articulate.

A friend recommended it to me after I mentioned to him about Broadcurch. .

4/5

The thread has a couple of favorable reviews of 12 Monkeys. Plan to watch it on the weekend. Anyone seen it recently ?

Also, who all are watching Comicstaan? It started off slow but is quite good in parts after the first episode. Couple the comics are hilarious, although my fav is Rahul Dua.

I loved Broadchurch too. I'd suggest you try Shetland then. Really good.

I recently watched a french series that was something like The Dark, don't remember the name!

Watched all seasons of 'The Fall' on Netflix starring Gillian Anderson. Top notch storyline, and performances from the cast. Watch out in particualar for the male protagonist, as he sends a shiver down your spine with his performance. Clam, composed yet scary.

Do watch it.

P.S. : Not recommended for family viewing.

Stumbled upon 'Line of Duty' by accident as it came up on the suggested list from Netflix once we finished watching 'The Fall'. Quickly got through Season 1 which we enjoyed, and Season 2 is more intriguing. I totally support the feedback above.

Better Call Saul isn't on Netflix India yet. Any idea when is it going to be aired?

Neither am I a wordsmith nor eloquent enough to describe what I felt while watching the series by AR Rahman.

This is a worthy tribute to our independence. Must watch if you have maverick taste in music.

I would go ahead and say that there is nothing else better on Amazon Prime than Harmony at this moment.

I am HUGE fan of ARRahman's work. Even though I am a Maharashtrian, I have Rahman's work from all languages in original form.

What sets Rahman apart from other musicians is his super focus, and an idol when it comes to thoughts, public behavior, and spreading positivity through his work. Rahman is also known for bringing never-heard-of talent and grooming them so well, that audience is forced to sit and take notice of their work.

The Harmony series is so very well shot, edited and conceptualized. All 4 artists' stories are built up so well that you become part of their life for a moment. What I also liked that Rahman has chosen these 4 artists, who are beyond fame, glamour and money. Pure genuine dedicated artists !!!

The last episode epitomizes and reaches it's peak in the actual concert having all 4 artists together.

What you will also see conspicuously throughout the series is how Rahman introduces us to latest and greatest musical instruments. The set he used in the Manipur episode is simply mind blowing !!!

I felt that he did not use the Mizhavu instrument to the fullest in the final concert.

Please please watch the series.

It's mentioned as Season-1, so I really hope there is much more to come.

It says it's arriving on 22nd Aug on the Netflix app. It's there in the "Coming Soon" section of the app.
