1. Everybody hates Chris:
Good show for teens to watch (I guess grownups too!)

2. My wife and kids:
Again- good show for teens + grownups!

^^ Both shows are much more sober in content wrt 2.5 men, and some of the recent crop of shows..

EDIT:
Just started (contd.)

3. Just Shoot Me!
Hilarious office-media comedy!

Ace.

P.S. I still love the current crop of shows! lol.

You might also try Spartacus : Gods of The Arena. Its a rated HBO series. Pretty good. Discretionary viewing is required though, so be careful.

Re: Television shows: What do you watch?

There is a US TV series - "Episodes". It is downright hilarious. Good performance by Matt LeBlanc and the other 2 (British) lead characters.

Would rate it 4/5. Hope they release it in India soon. It has only completed one season and the second season is slated to go on air (I think) by early 2012.

Its a lovely show. But have you seen the Top Chef Masters - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia on AXN.

Its a more in your face kind of show.
I really loved Jonathan's style of cooking. Rick was awesome. Susur was with a lot of style and he wanted to really win it.

I never expected Marcus to win it

The BIGG BOSS 5 thread!

I dont know whether this is allowed in T-BHP, but I have created this thread for discussing the popular show Bigg Boss 5!

I usually dont watch stupid reality shows but this is one show which caught my attention & I find it really amusing sometimes! Its better than watching saas-bahu serials, no?

I dont care even if its scripted but its full one hour of entertainment! Especially the timing of the show is superb (10.30 - 11.30), apt for bed time watch before dozing off.

Please note, this thread is not for BB5 haters to criticize the show.

@ MODS:
Please delete this thread if this is NOT allowed. Thanks.

Re: The BIGG BOSS 5 thread!

I always felt it was the worst show one could watch until I happened to watch a couple of episodes last year and got hooked. Dolly ji was pretty interesting. But this time around decided not to start watching it as I kind of hate shows stretching for too long. But yea its a good concept.

Lol, even I felt it was scripted till I spoke to one of the top bosses at Wizcraft. What he had to say was that in Big Boss everyone is given " a mission" for e.g "X" will be told to be a trouble maker, "Y" will be told to be un-co-operative and so on. They are not told what to say at what time, whatever they do in the house or whatever they say happens at the spur of the moment so its not scripted.

Also the editing is done in such a way that it looks more dramatic than it actually would be if we see the whole thing rather than just seeing snippets.

Re: The BIGG BOSS 5 thread!

I do watch it on most days. The timing is spot on ! There's some good eye-candy on offer too.
I like Shonali Nagrani the most, she's quite pretty!
And Vida Samadzai's (you know what) is quite a sight before going to sleep!

Even I find Shonali to be very cute!

Pooja bedi sometimes irritates me by bossing around. Infact, Pooja Missra is the "entertainer". Without her, the show would be DRAB!

New entry Amar, I feel, is very cunning.
