OLD:Fawlty Towers,

New:IT crowd,
Breaking Bad was an amazing series. Every episode of the entire series was meticulouly done and no lag even in the end. Loved it from the first episode of first season itself.
Brit comedy shows are the best. On a level of their own i say. IT Crowd was damn funny.havent watched fawlty towers yet.

Currently watching spooks, sherlock and Mad Men.
Any mad men fans out here?

And im a fan of hbo mini series. The Pacific and a band of brothers were my favorites along with the evergreen Entourage.

Re: Television shows: What do you watch?

I don't watch any series on TV these days. For that matter don't watch movies or news either. Indian TV channels have an advert to programming ratio that makes enjoying anything on the air virtually impossible.

But I do watch a few selected shows on my laptop or connected to my TV through an HDMI cable. Notably:
- Dexter: have watched all except the last few episodes of S6
- House MD: big fan of Hugh Laurie
- Breaking Bad: My latest addiction. Still just on S2. No spoilers please!
- Prison Break: It's not bad but lags a bit.
- Death Note: My (late) introduction to Japanese anime. just 37 episodes of 20 odd minutes each. I got to around 29, need to watch the rest soon. Quite interesting.

Watchlist (yet to sample)
- The Wire (highly reccomended)
- Mad Men (I have heard good reviews but never really sat and watched a whole episode)
- Modern Family (watched the odd episode on TV and really loved it- very similar to The Office in terms of narrative style but focused on the home).

Then you will love the Pacific. Never had a taste for war movies as i hadnt much to watch with regards to war. But these two Series are just so awe inspiring. The title track of both are a masterpiece in itself.
If you can then watch both in 1080p hd as anything less than that isnt worth watching.

Oo a fellow Dexter fan here. If you like white collar maybe you will love SUITS by the same network. Season 2 is currently going on. Give the season 1.pilot a try.

Any Mad Men fan out here?

Watched quite a bit of Dexter but lost interest. Seemed almost moronic.

Mad Men is awesome. Did not watch it completely though I have all the seasons.

Walking Dead / Supernatural - The basic premise itself was a turnoff for me. Never did like supernatural / zombie kind of stuff.

Not able to find time to watch Suits. Have the complete series. Been hearing lot of good things about it. Same about IT crowd. Have to catch up soon.

Was watching Luther last night and thought 'is this what Pommies come up with in name of thrillers'? For a series picked by BBC it is pretty unimaginative.

Presently enjoying MasterChef Australia. One of the best cooking shows. Simply love the show.

Re: Television shows: What do you watch?

Criminal Minds Season 7 started on Star World after White Collar.

Watched the first episode of Suits. A lot similar to White Collar, just a different setting. Looks good.

Re: Television shows: What do you watch?

Finished watching 2 seasons of Game of Thrones, and trust me, it's the best TV series I've watched yet. Amazing storyline, great acting. Contains many mature scenes, so not recommended to see with children. But it's a must watch. I'd rate it 5/5.

Game of Thrones (TV Series 2011) - IMDb

For any one of you havent watched Sherlock; Please DO.

Sometimes I would get lost in the accent, thanks for subtitles. Season 1 has just 3 Episodes; but the content is so amazing. Gotta get my hands on Season 2.

Scene between Moriarity and Sherlock just blew me away.

Started watching Breaking Bad on S3 now: Chemistry between Walter and Jesse just rocks!

Re: Television shows: What do you watch?

Been watching Outsourced on Zee Cafe off late. Quite funny, although it's very stereotyped and slightly racist. I don't care though.

Gets repetitive after few times and some characters start to bore you.

Watched couple of episodes of New Girl on Star World. Boring. Two and a Half Men any day for me.

Somehow I seem to like it.

I assumed New Girl to be a chick-flick sort of TV Show but I was so wrong. The way those 3 guys deal with that annoying woman is quite funny. I'm a sucker for subtle humor *winks*

Have you watched the latest season of Two And A half Men? The one with Ashton Kutcher in it? I was very skeptical initially, but it isn't bad at all I'd say!

I watched 3-4 episodes and realised Kutcher had pretty big shoes to fill and his character comes no where close to Charlie Harper and Kutcher cannot act for his life. Stopped watching after that. More over there are so many excellent shows out there and finding time to watch them itself is difficult. Hence I became very picky now a days.
