Re: Television shows: What do you watch?

Just finished watching season 2 of "The Walking Dead". Found season 2 to be a bit slow compared to season1.
Could someone suggest me something good to watch?
I enjoy watching adventure, drama, mystery, Sci-Fi and thriller genres.
Apart from the walking dead, I have already watched Lost, 24, Prison break from this genre.

Another great show that just ended is House. Extremely witty and innovative. Would always miss it.

Anyone watched scrubs here? It was also an extremely funny show.

Arrested development?

Re: Television shows: What do you watch?

These days I'm watching the following -
(Show name and My ratings)

Fringe - 9/10
Big Bang Theory - 7.5/10
Yes Minister - 10/10
My Family - 9.5/10
Are you Being Served - 8/10

In addition the ones that come to mind (having finished watching in recent past) -

Lost - it had its moments but.... (Finished Thank God)
24 - 8/10 (Finished)
Prison Break - 9/10 (Finished)
The Wire - 9.5/10
Breaking Bad - 9/10
Monty Pythons Flying Circus - 9.5/10
Dexter - 9/10
The Shield - 7/10

I must mention a word for a serial that is currently on BBC - Spooks(aka MI5). for people interested in Cloak and dagger stuff this is a very smart series.

And the top honors are shared between - TOM & JERRY and The Simpsons (Don't dare refer to them as Cartoons..!)

Scrubs was an excellent show, loved the characters Dr. Cox, the Janitor and Dr Bob Kelso!! Too bad they screwed it up in the last season.

You rated The Shield only a 7? I watched each and every episode of it and simply loved the show. No cop show I have seen so far comes anywhere near The Shield. Vic Mackey and his gang are just awesome. I rate it the best cop / thriller show ever.

I am presently watching White Collar which is one of the suavest shows on TV. Also watching the eternal favorites - Two and Half Men, The Big Bang theory, How I met your mother, Masterchef, Top Gear, Mentalist, CSI / CSI NY, Burn Notice.

Some of the shows I watched and liked:

24, The Good Wife, Bostn Legal, Spartacus, Camelot, Seinfeld, Whose Line is it anyway, Melissa and Joey, Scrubs, Rizzoli and Isles, Rules of Engagement, Criminal Minds, Dexter, Necessary Roughness, Friends, Pan Am, Person of Interest, Unforgettable, Body of evidence, Rookie blue, Colby Blue, Californication, Suits, Weeds, The Tudors, The Killing, Sherlock

Shield was a good show and it definitely had its moments. I sometimes got the feeling that it was trying too hard to be a hard hitting show. I have no intentions of running the show down... After all I saw it from serial 'a' to serial 'z'...!
Most of the things in life are assessed relative to something else. In this case Shield was assessed versus The Wire. I don't see that serial in your list. If you have not seen it then I would recommend that you correct the situation as soon as possible...!
Wasn't "Whose line is it anyways?" just fantastic...!?

No, I have not watched The Wire though I read about it. Will remedy it soon.

WLIIA is a fantastic show. There are lot of good shows out there and even if you watch it, you miss a few when you list them out. After I posted my reply I realised I missed out Castle - love Stana Katic. From that small role in one of the seasons of 24 she has come a long way and looks absolutely stunning.

There are other shows too, am sure they will come up as we go.

How many times did you feel like strangling Sheldon?

Check out How I met your mother if you have not watched it.

The latest season of Two and half men disappointed me. Kutcher cannot act for his life and after watching the antics of Charlie, it comes across as a dumb act. Thumbs down.

Oh Sheldon is my favorite character of the show. Just imagine if he were a intelligent robot actually instead of a human. Would you still feel like that.

Yes I saw a few of the latest episodes of Two and a Half men when I was in Sweden and Aston is not a patch on Charlie Sheen. What a loss.
