Has the masterchef australia 2015 started to air on Star world HD? I don't want to google it, as it reveals the winners :( Hence asking on this thread. I remember seeing its ads for star world hd premier.

One of my all time favourite shows 'The Big Bang Theory' has come to end of another awesome season. Its end of season 8 and things are looking edgy in all the relationships.

Kudos to the writers for keeping the quality at top notch level through 8 years. Now the wait begins for the next season, season 9.

Nope, they aren't.
But I can vouch for forever and scorpion. They're good. Forever especially.
I'm going to take his recommendation on 12 monkeys, though. Love that genre.

Where I can find them? Hulu/netflix/Amazon?

Forever - Hulu
Scorpion - CBS.com / AXN India (I think so - please check their website)

Forever is my favourite as well. They ended Season 1 nicely. Too bad ABC cancelled the show so sadly no Season 2. I would be watching Season 1 once again if I get my hands on Blu-ray (hopefully with extra features/commentary).

Finished with the First Season of True Detective. Boy, what a mini series!!! Absolutely awestruck..
Cannot wait for the Second Season 2. Entirely new cast and a new story. Must watch from me.
Watched Banshee, (3 Seasons) interesting story and good acting by lead actors. However the nudity just puts me off.

Since the last month watched Homeland, then all seasons of Game of Thrones once again (the missus hadn't seen it). Then saw House of Cards, Now started Daredevil. Next up is The Flash, Gotham, Parks & Recreation, Revenge, The Good Wife, Downton Abbey, The Americans & Mad Men. We're 'marathon-ing' it well. Way better than watching pointless news debates every night innit?

On the other hand I believe BBT has lost its charm this season
It seems the characters are just going through the motions.
The jokes are getting repeated time and again.
Lets hope season 9 has some refreshing change.

re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Don't know if this one has been posted before, but I find the "Naked and Afraid" series captivating and have been watching it since inception. I download new episodes as they come.

Bear in mind though that this series is not for everyone. Every episode features a guy and a gal who are let loose in some remote wilderness without any clothes and just two items of their choosing and they have to survive for the next 21 days usually eating snakes, lizards and what not. Needless to say, not many make it through the full 21 days.

Another series, again available via download, that I have been watching for quite some time is "The Week that Wasn't by John Oliver". Though laden with profanity, this one is quite an eye opener in terms of current affairs from an American perspective.

re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Watched Better Call Saul Season 1.
The main character needs no introduction for all the Breaking Bad fans and watching this spin-off series brings back the fond memories of Breaking Bad. The same deserted streets of Albuquerque, New Mexico, similar dark and emotional characters. Jonathan Banks is just fantastic.
Season 1 was good but subsequent seasons will definitely better the earlier ones just like Breaking Bad.

Anyone watched Daredevil? I saw the first episode and it looks promising. Marvel comics superhero stuff.

I'm guessing you mean Last Week Tonight.
The videos are posted on YouTube by their official channel as well.

Yeah, I also think it's got stale and boring. The show is just not what it was at its start; 4 geeks trying to be social.
I think this is the case with all Chuck Lorre shows(P.S. Two and a Half Men)
