Season 1 was totally independent and absolutely awesome.
Season 2 is terrific as well. I am totally hooked. Lot of differences between the two seasons - You will miss Billy Bob Thornton but then so many more characters in S2 that it will be difficult to decide whom you like the most
Don't miss out on the music - top notch.

Any fans of White Collar here? I love the series. Had binge watched on Netflix and S5/S6 was also telecast on Star World sometime back.

Currently finishing off The starin season 2, and the final season of Continuum.
Contnuum is really good, that theyve managed to keep it engaging even while dealing with something so rhetorical and done-to-death like time travel!

How good is this? Maybe a short summary of a couple of lines? I have this, just have to get around to it.
Also read good reviews of Z-nation, will try later today.

Any Serial fans here? Technically not a television show but I was hooked to the first season podcast. The second season has kicked off and again seems very promising.

Also finished watching Fargo Season 2 and was it good or what! Now time to binge watch Homeland

re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Into the Badlands - season 1 is on currently, 5 episodes in. Difficult to describe this series as it straddles a few genres. it is for Martial arts/action fans.

Mr Robot - i think this was the sleeper hit of the year. season 1 was fantastic. lateral, great plot twists which are completely unexpected but still made sense. cant wait for season 2.

Halt and Catch Fire - liked season 1 immensely which within itself could have been the end. Have seen 6 episodes of season 2.

Fargo - season 2 concluded monday. were seasons 1 & 2 the best TV ever?

Homeland - after season 4 i was thinking what can they do next. has season 5 been great or what

Deutschland 83 - german serial set in the cold war era. season 2 may be out in '16.

Boardwalk Empire - have seen seasons 1 & 2 so far. set during the prohibition era. this is a grim and brutal series but still really liked it.

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell - a riveting 7 episodes made by BBC. set in 19th century. Fantasy/Magic.

Miss Fishers murder mysteries - have seen all 3 seasons. this is a light hearted series, and yes there is a murder case to be solved in every episode.

Quantico - stopped watching after ep 8. the twists seemed amateur and the back and forth timeline that the series has been using was very irritating.

re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Caught up with Jessica Jones, Daredevil and Better Call Saul over the last month. Daredevil was fantastic (it was more like a binge watch!). Jessica Jones was a bit slow. Speaking of which, Homeland wrapped up season 5 yesterday - the ratings have gone down; I really hope they conclude the show real quick.

I am now eagerly waiting for the final season of Banshee. Will see if I can hold on until all the episodes air and then watch all of them in one go. Should be fun but let me see if I can control my urge!

You really should. Binge watching IS the way to watch Banshee

Edit - I am midway through Fargo Season 2. It's fantastic !

Season 5 was very bad compared to Season 1 and 4, which remain the best.
Actually the season 5 finale episode was laughable.

I found season 5 fairly good. Matter of personal choice. To each his own. The live plus 3 ratings have been consistently up (last three episodes) per Deadline Hollywood.

Luther, in the same league as sherlock. A near-genius but messed up detective played by Idris Elba. First couple of episodes are slow but after that it picks up steam. Season 4 live now.

Anybody catch the new Sherlock episode yet? It's got fairly mixed reviews but after a second watch (yes, I'm jobless) I think it sets the tone for the upcoming season very nicely.
