Any one watching latest season of X-Files? What a way to ruin the show. No head and tails on where they are heading with the series. And the chemistry seems to be bad between the lead actors in this edition. I used to love Moulder and Scully earlier.

How to Get Away with Murder = 3 stars

It starts slow, gathers pace in the middle and towards the end but the finish to season 1 was nothing to write home about.

Haven't decided if I will be seeing season 2. Any reviews ?

I agree.
The current American television philosophy is to create something edgy and fast without making any sense. That has been applied to X-Files too.

Have seen season 2 till episode 9. Follows the same way it did in season 1. I am getting bored of it. Watching it just to know where it is going to end.

Loved it. Focus is more on action, gore, violence and adult content. There are some nail biting fighting sequences throughout. Since you liked Banshee, I am sure you'll love this one. They wrapped it in 3 seasons and a mini series. The cast is mostly Australians + New Zealanders.

The actor who portrayed Spartacus in the first season expired due to cancer midway through and the replacement guy although no match for the previous one, did just fine.

It is different from Rome though.

you can watch it whenever you are super bored and waiting for other shows to start from their break In the show they keep adding new things/people to make the story complex and drag it.

S09 is no good.

They have all grown old, can no longer be considered geeks and I wouldn't be surprised if one of them pops a kid soon. Only those who have watched S01-S08 will persevere so far.

So upset by X-Files E01 and E02 that I had to end my misery by not watching any more. No chemistry between Mulder & Scully and now Mulder believes aliens are all a government conspiracy? Even the US government will be snickering at how smart this show makes them look. Give me the muddling "Monsters of the week" from the old X-Files any day, it still scares the bejesus out of me if I turn the volume up.

These days I am binge watching "That 70s Show" S01-S05.

PS: I still like "Chicago PD" and their new season is as good as the earlier ones. All solid performances there according to me.

Idris Elba - has suddenly become a favourite actor! Laid back poise, calm and dashing English speaking cop character role. Played well

The Gunman - a movie has good reviews on IMDB; next one after Luther

Started Watching a new show Lucifer. Completed just 2 episodes. IMDb link is below.

The show was good. Liked the guy who acted as Lucifer. Nothing too scary or devilish. Lucifer was funny and witty.

I started watching Narcos over the past few days and liked it so much that I completed the whole season over the weekend. Things happen thick and fast and loved american dilemma between drugs and communism.
