Narcos : Mexico
Narcos : Mexico will release on 16th Nov on Netflix.

Quote:
Narcos: Mexico will explore the origins of the modern drug war by going back to a time when the Mexican trafficking world was a loose and disorganized confederation of independent growers and dealers. The series will chart the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s as Félix Gallardo takes the helm, unifying traffickers in order to build an empire.

The Haunting of Hill House:

This has to be one of the best TV shows I have watched in the recent times. It goes beyond horror.
Episode 6 is just fantastic. Felt more like a play.
The camera work deserves special mention. Not to forget the fabulous acting, even by all the child actors.
Every character is memorable.

A must watch.

I have started watching Dr Who (the reboot that started from 2005). Currently on season 2. It's good for those who like some sci-fi elements and not turned off by weird looking aliens sometimes.

Totally agree!!

The Haunting of Hill House: This has to be the best Netflix Series ever produced, to say it surpasses Stranger things would be the right thing. There is a lot going on in this series and the utter suspense that takes place right till the end is just too good.

If you have watched the spanish movie Orphanage, you will get an idea. the emotions/horror/suspense it generates is truly great. Definitely a Must watch!

The child actors are amazing and so are their adult counterparts. Luke, Nell, Shirley stand out! Great job by the creators.

Started watching Seven Seconds on Netflix. A taut, gritty series based on police brutality towards black people in America. Set in New Jersey with some bleak winter footage and backed by superb performances by some familiar faces.

Am about halfway through now, will finish by the weekend!

The Little Drummer Girl.

My brother was just telling me about a new miniseries of 6 episodes on BBC in the UK.
This show is based on the book of the same name by John Le Carre.
This show is made by the same team that adapted "The Night Manager"
It is directed by the Korean director of "Oldboy" Park Chan-wook
Stars Michael Shannon & Alexander Skarsgård.

Cannot wait for it to be streamed on our streaming services.
Trying to purchase the book on Kindle but is not available. Maybe once the series hits the US airwaves, the book will be released on Kindle.

Season 6 is such a big letdown, what with that abrupt ending. Seems like Kevin left the show with the writers. They could have very well ended the show at season 5.

Watching Netflix original Money heist (La Casa De Papel in spanish) these days.

As it has been mentioned earlier on this thread, Netflix has opened up a whole new world of non-English entertainment. Money Heist is one such shining example.

It's Spanish series on robbery and fine detailing around it with some crisp back & forth editing. I am watching it in Spanish and after a few episodes, its seems that I can follow some of the sentences and words ( curse words I meant) without evening looking for the sub-titles.

The Series is like a good wine. It takes you high slowly. Do watch it.

Agree with the review. I too loved the series. And Bella Ciao is awesome.

Finished watching Bojack Horseman. Loved the characters, and the languid pace at which the series went exploring so much. Is there more of such good animated content for adults?

Nature's Great Events on Netfilx too is a must watch. Which then led me to Planet Earth2, and I realised what gems I had been missing all along.

Bodyguard on Netflix was a decent watch too, manages to hold your attention till the very end.

Thanks for the recommendation, would be great to know about more such content which allows one to subtly explore other cultures and geographies!

Thank you for the tip-off - absolutely loved the series.
