Watching "His Dark Creations" on hotstar.
To give an idea, its concept is a mixture of Harry Potter and Dark.
It's a good watch and those who like such genre would enjoy.
Am in second season and have 2 more episodes to go.

Its more of a Netflix type movie with good script and story but released on a wrong streaming service!
Started watching Nailpolish but few scenes were a bit disturbing (May be its my personal thinking) so stopped in between.

Binge watched Defending Jacob on Apple TV+.

A nicely done murder-mystery-drama with some really well done acting. It keeps you engaged throughout, is well paced but falls just short of giving you closure. Maybe that's for Season 2?

4.5/5

LUPIN Season 1 - Netflix

The trailer to this one looked interesting, which made us decide to watch this French series dubbed into English. The plot follows the life of a clever thief, who is a master of disguises. Some cinematic liberty aside, it does do enough to keep you interested. Worth a watch.

Guys, strongly recommending "You" on Netflix. I am not a binge-watcher at all, yet spent 3 - 4 hours on this yesterday. An awesome series if you like romantic thrillers. Penn Badgley + Elizabeth Lail are superb! I'm developing a crush on Lail .

Rating a full 5 out of 5 stars .

Seconded, Would strongly advise you to wait for Victoria Pedretti in Season 2. One of the rare shows where the second season is as promising as the first. If not even better.

Watched the first episode of Earth AT Night on Apple TV+. The show gives a glimpse in to the animals' world at night and it's mesmerizing! The narration is good too but the visuals are breathtaking.

Yes there are few very disturbing scenes. Sorry i did not mention about it in my original post.

"Sir" is a nice watch on Netflix

Its rated 13+ a family friendly watch though the story deals with attraction outside wedlock.

Since I loved The Shield, I am sure I will like The Wire. Have the 5 seasons on my hard drive but am not finding time to watch it. Presently watching House of Cards, an amazing political drama.

Thanks guys. The Good Wife was great (5/5 in my opinion). Binge watched all 7 seasons!
Have started on The Good Fight with Diane as the main character - seems to be just as good (have watched the first two episodes only)
Mods: Have not trimmed that long list because it seems quite useful.

Re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Just binged Cobra Kai season 3. Enjoyed the season.

Some spoilers below-

Character development was on another level and finally we get to understand why Kreese is what he is. Brilliant job by casting director to bring back so many characters from the movie. Loved Chozen part. This show states it very well no one is good or bad, it's just perspective and everyone has their reasons to do what they do.

Last episode house fight was excellent fun. Hawk has been my favourite character and his redemption arc will be fun to watch next season. I don't care if it gets few more seasons if they can keep the quality high but season 4 might be the last one to wrap everything up nicely

And that soundtrack at the end of episode 10 was absolutely beautiful.

Lupin
I love heist and con man shows. This is a good one and has its moments. Could have made atleast 8 episodes but maybe they already planned the next season.

Tandav: 4/5
Quite an intriguing political storyline with parts relatable to current scenario.
Highly recommended.

I watch a lot of series and mainly into crime thrillers. But I would like to suggest "Sandwiched Forever" on Sony Liv. Very light hearted family (with some references to S word) but definitely got me glued. The punchlines and the comedy with just 6 characters is really good. Between those crime thrillers and serious documentaries, this one is quite fresh to watch when you do not want to use your brains. I would definitely recommend it.
