Karlosdeville- Now a D-Bhpian.

I might add here that I had the privilige of spending a good part of yesterday with our newest (and probably the youngest?) D-Bhpian along with Moralfibre, in Pune. A hearty lunch at the famed Dorabjee's and then a tour of virtually the whole town in quest of looking at some desirable classics and vintages, that too in "Distinguised Company".
A virtual encyclopedia of old cars (all from an era in which his grand parents were born). A helpful fella and a good friend. I could'nt think of anyone who deserved this title more.
A word of appreciation for those who were instrumental in this decision. Congratulations Karl Singh Fiatwale on your induction.

P.S.- Kiran I beat you to starting this thread.

Attaboy Karl!! Way to go. I distinctly remember making this post in May where I expressed your distinguished nature . Way to go

Distinguished Karl

Btw, those who call him Fiat wale, do you know Karl has been named after "Karl Benz"? I am not kidding!!

EDIT # 2: Last we spoke, he remembers the registration number of his school bus too!!

Now for my Oscars style speech.

"Id like to thank all the little people who I stepped on to get here, my mom, dad, my sister, my dachschund Loppy, and most of all, God! I love you all!"

hehe...but seriously, a humbling experience...thanks for your good wishes.

EDIT. they were 2 busses...MHO 4128 and MHQ 4134. St Josephs had MHQ 4124, Ornellas (or angles not sure) had MHQ 4125. And Helenas ran a genuine 50s Mercedes bus till last year i think. and my beloved MHQ 4134 was sold for 40k, and still passes my house every morning shuttling some officegoers to work.
