We started the year with an early morning Safari at Kaziranga National Park on January 1, 2022. That was indeed a memorable beginning to the year 2022.

Had a lot of travel, both in the country and outside the country as well this year. I got chance to see a lot of places using multiple modes of transportation and got few unique moments and experiences which I will both Cherish and feel embarrassed (in a good way).

Peddled through the streets of Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm. Was able to experience the bus journey to Oslo and Copenhagen, and in the trip to Copenhagen was able to see the bus go through a sea link and undersea tunnel. Had also the chance to take trains to Vasteras and Stockholm in first class while watching 'House of the Dragons'. And for the first time in my life, used a ferry to reach an Island. Got a chance to travel in a 100 year old ceremonial tram in Gothenburg.

The most embarrassing fact this year was, despite being born in Chennai and claiming to be a cross country tourer on my CBR 250 R, till this year I didn't visit Kerala and thankfully I did a road trip to Wayanad & Palakkad with my car. And just back from an 800 km trip to Coimbatore and a week before did a 650 km trip to my wife's hometown in Andhra Pradesh during the cyclone 'Mandous'.
