Btw Just wanted to know why is Axis bank asking for Companies Turn over? The account was earlier with CITI BANK now looks like Axis has taken over it, We got a letter asking to Furnish Companies Turn over in the next 14 days.

But this is a regular current account! With no Overdraft or anything of that sorts.

Re: Citibank's exit from India

I still haven't received any login details for Axis bank. With Citibank app going offline on 12th Jul, I wonder if it would be wise to transfer entire amount to another bank account.

I just did that to be on the safer side! I did visit Axis bank and they seem to be clueless!

Yes, I guess we need to make another account as primary and keep citi/axis just to get the salary and retain it that way. Everything said and done will surely miss the ease of use of citi online and app functionality.

So I got an email today stating this:

Moving ahead in this journey, we have linked all your Citibank relationships with your existing Axis Bank Customer ID
So in my case existing customer ID is linked.

That message is confusing really. Isn’t retail banking and consumer banking one and the same?

According to the email received, the customer ID's are active from 15th July. We would have to wait until the 15th to enable the customer ids and login to axis bank systems

Re: Citibank's exit from India

Team, got an update for Axis Bank app on Android yesterday and after update unable to see my existing credit cards (have 2 axis bank cards already). No savings account or any type of relationship. Just credit cards.Nothing is working. No touch action. This is how the app looks.

Edit : Uninstalled the app and then reinstalled again. But no luck. Nothing is working. One can see 2 rows of same icons.

Yes, it's after 30th June update.

Scroll down a bit more and under "PRODUCTS", tap on credit cards and you can see your credit cards and use the app like you normally do.

Re: Citibank's exit from India

Does this IFSC change impact Google Pay transactions? Do we need to reinstall GPay?

If so, it will ask for debit card number which we do not have yet. How do we get around this now?
