No wonder English is a funny language
Ok, I do get the joke, but I dont think Price and Worth are the same at all. Worth is the intrinsic value of something - not necessarily measurable in monetary terms. Price is a much narrower attribute - referring to monetary value only.

The price of something may be much different than what it is actually worth (e.g. because it is an antique or was owned by somebody famous).

Price & Worth both mean the same thing - Value. The meaning also depends on the usage. Worth & Price are also used as comparatives. eg. Is this car worth the price its demanding?

Aha! Would an example of that be Bush asking the terrorists not to 'misunderestimate' the power of America?

Hmm, similar to a very common Indian-ism I've heard : 'To remove a photograph'

Halve is a verb and signifies the action of cutting into half.
Half is a noun.

Halve is also the plural of halva.

Halva is of 3 types, 2 you can eat.

1. Halva - Sweet Dish
2. Halva - A form of fish
3. Margaret Halva - Politician

B&T, there is another kind of halva. The kind found in usage in Tamilnadu only.

Usage : nitrous went around with his girlfriend promising to marry her. But finally he gave her halva and found himself a new GF.

P.S. : nitrous, just kidding man. Since most of the chennai tbhp crowd are married oldies, had to use your name, you being the only eligible bachelor in the group.

John, google tells me that Halva is the name of a variety of Pomfret, though I am not sure in which language.

Another usage:
"Agar tune mere girlfriend ke taraf firse dekha toh mein tera halva bana doonga!"
