Just out of FnF-4, and i can confidently claim that its the worst of the lot. The editing was sloppy, the performances were bad. Vin Diesel just hammed throughout, wit Paul 'confused' Walker, who certainly needs acting lessons. Jordana looked hot, thats bout it.
Now onto the cars, same old metal: An R34, Mustangs, Mazdas, Humvees etc. Some sequences were shot briliantly, but most of the others were shot using graphics. I remember the 1st installment using little or no graphics, but this was full of it. The race, tunnel scenes etc. We are enthusiasts, and would rather watch real metal than this. Gimme the 1st installment anyday, i still cherish it. That was a thoroughbred 'car' movie. This is primarily a revenge saga, with some car sequences rolled in.

Damn, and I was so excited! Either ways, will watch it once (with low expectations though) just because it's a car movie.

Very confused movie. Walker asks for 2 R-34s and 1 new GT-R but we see only 1 R-34 throughout the movie. Again, nitrous oxide is shown to explode by itself. Some really bad CG as well.
All of which was blown away by some amazing performances by the female extras.
And here i thought fast and furious part 3 was the worst one!!
This movie had me totally confused. I went in with loads of expectations and came out with mixed feelings. The movie did not live upto it's expectations. You would keep guessing that now we will see some real car on car action and by the time the whole racing sequence is over, you are left disappointed. it was more of a catch-up done by the producers and directors about what happened b/w FATF 2 and 3. Definitely not lived upto it's high expectations but sure worth a watch once if ur a die hard FATF fan!!
I liked it somehow. It was much better to see walker back in action after that hick town villager in tokyo drift.
The fact that the movie began just like the first one with the truck jacking etc and had the bits from the second one like the race to be the drivers were very useful in getting rid of the aftertaste of tokyo drift.
The corny lines and insipid acting was there, but some of it was there in the first one too.
All in all, I was very happy! Maybe I`m biased cos I`d watch any fast and the furious movie!
Gonna watch it today.... will post back on my thoughts...
Saw it last night, definitely worst of the lot. There was nothing exciting to look forward to in the entire movie. Acting was just about okay, cars and chases were just about okay with a lot of OTT stunts. Didnt feel like a real 'car movie'

Damn, that is bad. I had high expectations and was planning on watching it tomorow. Maybe I will skip it for this weekend.
Watched it last night.Just an ok movie,nothing great.Can watch it just once,thats it. But loved the last scene:)
I was so looking forward to this movie. Will now watch it on DVD.

Fast & Furious (2009)
That is a real damper!
Thought I will watch it just for the cars, but NC's rating killed that also!!!
So, it is 10$ saved.
Watched the movie today with my teenage son. Both of us loved the movie. True, it is no longer about the cars (so unlike part I) but it is very fast paced and has fantastic stunts and good racing action.
Damn.
It is no where near the hype.
Its just another movie.
Nothing fast and furious about it.
Watched it in the evening. It's good for once, kinda movie. Nothing great or nothing very bad about it. Of course the 1st one is the best of the lot!
