yep, been also looking at that, how about this one:
eBay Motors: Pyramid PB236GX 4 Channel 400w Amp, Never Used (item 160142794465 end time Aug-05-07 20:51:06 PDT)
i know this isnt any well known brand (rather its not known i guess), that should be easy on my BIL's pocket. If that amp could work for a year or two it would be great, I am not going for a Sub as of now, want this thing to power my front and rear speakers. You can check about my ICE in my gallery:
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indiancarpicture-938.html

you can say it as a level above a basic ICE set-up. (costed me around 15k in 2003)

these are something I am interested in too....

Get books on DIY turbocharging or just simple mods to engines. They are helpful if you are into modifying for power, tyre seilent if you are on tubeless...than there are interior stuff...all in the rang of $10 to $50...

get radar detector (cobra -brand name) from Walmart, app $ 40; fix-a-flat for $ 1.07 from Dollar Tree; get Car Shine (claiming once a year car polish) for $ 7 (walmart); get tyre shiner from Dollar Tree for $ 1.07;
those cheap stuff, most of the time have high shipping cost(way to recover the costs) atleast in the ebay, let me see in the wallmart, I hope they have the cart thing in their website.

I'm not that good at photoshop, crazy. Unfortunately this pic is the real thing. Their names are Janine and Kathi. They are real and so am I(and so is my hand, lol.) And yes, E_L, it's Berlin, good memory.

krk2krkk2kr2, I think the most useful advice in this whole thread is Panky's (except for the green card). Just get small things for your car that you don't get here.

Oops! In that case, a pair a sun-glasses for me too- The extra dark ones (Cause that was supposed to be a joke, and it flopped like a high end Hyundai . I need english classes)!

Q: Would a radar detector be of use in India? We have highway patrol with speed detectors in kerala, but never seen them in 'real' action.

gear knobs..... hmm!, let me see these as well. (hope after this somebody wouldnt put my car pic in the whacky mod job thread )
radar dectectors????, do they exist in Hyderabad???, i dont think so. But still if after all the stuff i thought of 'outsourcing' and my BIL has greens to spend extra i will get that too.

Any other non-electronic gadgets or creations be it auto or non-auto, please enlighten me.

More than the hand, the proximity of the gal on your right deserves more attention

What to get from USA?

Hi People,

I have a similar situation. My BIL is coming from USA. What low cost stuff can I get from USA for my Iceberg (Dzire). He is ignorant about cars.

How is a boot organiser? I am interested in getting something which helps on long drives.

Never been abroad so no idea of what stuff is available. Did check the Autozone site but could not make out much.

Please let your suggestions flow in.

Thanks!
D

Dushmish

An emergency rescue kit like this would be good for long drives.

Would be great if you could ferret one for me as well :-)

How about jump start cables, a good quality tyre inflator, emergency quick battery recharger.
