Speak to the metro planners - they will give the best idea.

There are funny ideas around like the metro will only take the golf course road (and extn) vs down subhash marg (current alignment) to rajeev chowk as the former is yet to be developed and builders can payoff the planners to align it there

(after all metro routing = money for some investors!)

Personally, I find sector 37 a complete no no as of now. 7 years is too long a time to say - by then surely the metro or expressway may come up. After all, sohna road was in the middle of nowhere 5 years ago!

Not that bad a bet for an investor.

But then so is Vatika India Next. A bit farther, but on the main expressway

Besides funny idea, the plan for gurgaon 2021 is already out and according to it the mtro will be routed towards Sector 65 only and there after will end at Metro Depot near to Sec 82.

Help needed with housing in Coimbatore

No, it's not for me. I'm still in Bangalore and Coimbatore is pretty much near the bottom of the list of places where I would like to go!

A friend has been posted there. He's been given accomodation in Nilgiris Hotel, Avinashi Road for 2 weeks(aaah.... fond memories! ). He is looking for a basic setup.

One room, one attached bathroom is enough for him. Something like a PG I guess.

His budget is 3.5k.

DLF or Sushant lok Gurgaon

Hi All, I have one family friend who want to invest in residential land in gurgaon. I can disclose the budget here, but give you some example, you can guess it clearly. This is what he has been offered so far

DLF PH-I 200 sq yrd = DLF PH III 163 sq yrd = Sushant lok 2&3 300 sq yrd.

I suggested him to look for DLF Ph III although area is lesser then others but it better than others. Moreover its close to NH 8. So what do you think guys. Does it make sense, which one is better Sushant lok, then which one of them (1,2,3), if DLF then which one off them (I, II, III etc).

Cannot give you much info but DLF Ph III is hell as far as water and electricity problem is concerned. Its close to NH8, but only some blocks - U,T,V etc.

BTW land for investment doesn't make much sense in DLF. Its arready quite overvalued and there isn't much room for more appreciation. For self use though it makes sense.

+1 to that. Some of my friends used to stay in the U block DLF3 and inspite of being in town houses they faced huge electricity and water issues. I would agree with DCEite completely.

Need help: Office space around koramangala

Dear fellow BHPians,
I am looking for a very small office space for about 4 people to sit and work in and around Koramangala, Bangalore. I trust BHPians around Bangalore can help.

Specs are simple, work space for 4 people, with attached restroom, very tight butdget.

I am not looking at a showroom kind of space, hence can be in any higher floors.
I am even open to shared spaces if any one have additional space in their offices tp spare for a price.

This is for my own use, for a start up we are planning.

Thanks in advance,
DRC

DRC,

I know someone who'll offer you a shared space. Its based on a concept called Co-working and is something I am trying to build across the country.

Will send you a PM on the contact soon. Anyone else needs assistance on stuff like this, feel free to post up here.

Hey NCR folks - was looking at a apartment in Gurgaon ( 3BHK)
I looked at Palam Vihar & beyond ( the new Raheja project) - but didnt find the area very good
Also looked at Vatika India next (beyond Manesar toll) - looks like it is 3-4 years away from any development
Lots of ads coming up for development in Golf Course Road Extension ( Emaar, Bestech, Raheja + Tata...) - i kind of liked the area but am doubtful if anything is going to get completed before 2012.

Should I look at resale properties or about to be completed projects ? any tips on what builders i should look out for
