How possessive are you?

Hello,

How do you feel when someone else is in the driving seat of your car? Do you like your car to be driven by anyone else than you? In other words, how possessive are you about your car?

In my case - Yes I am. I dont like someone else driving my car. There are many reasons such as their driving habits, raising the engine - wroom wrooom for no reason, keeping the clutch pressed even without changing gears. I drive very carefully. Im a safe driver. So I dont like rash ovetaking and haard braking to be done in my car. So, there are many reasons. But the final answer is same. Im sure its the same with most of you.

Would like to get some views from u all here.
Whats ur opinion, and why.

Regards,

I too am possessive about my car, though i dont mind letting others drive it occasionally and hear their opinions. With time, the car grows on the driver and a new driver can tell u things about the car that u wont have noticed otherwise coz u r so accustomed to it.

there is no way that i am gonna feel anything,as no one drives my car xcept me.
now that i am not there to drive it,i have a neighbour who drives it once a week, adn that too i make sure that my dad accompanies him so that he does not get xcited by the exhasut note or the power,
and regarding cleaning the car,i only do the daily washing .
hehe ,how much more possessive can u get.

I never let anyone drive my car .... Only two good friends of mine have driven the car with me not getting hyper ...... there were some other guys whom i let drive but i was doing left seat driving .... its not comfy when you let your car be driven by others when you do not have confidence in them .....

I used to be liberal with my car till August 1999. Thats when I let my esteem be driven by a person in Pune who is a biker in Pune, end result one freak rammed our broadside (left) @ 120kmph. The distance we had to cover was just half a km. I thought there would be no harm in letting this gentleman drive the car. Result of the accident was that my car was nearly totalled. Everyone walked out of the car with just bruises. Accident was unbelievable.

After which I cringe whenever my wife takes my Indica out. Can't help but giving her the car. Will be buying a new car soon and hand over the Indica to her. Beyond wife and dad I dont give my car to any one else, even if he/she is the most important person on earth. The stress is something I want to avoid.

I don't mind letting others drive my car provided the road conditions are favourable. As for the revving, i've yet to see anyone rev it to 7100 rpm LOL. They always shift at 6000-6500 even when i ask them to redline it.

After all, it is probably the only stock car in India, capable to surpassing the 7K mark, without hitting it's redline.

Missed this one. Like most of you I also don't like anyone else driving my car. Very & I mean very few people apart from me have driven it. I don't trust anyone with the car even if it's bone stock.
