Aren't these the steel wheels that you get with the car? They aren't worth much at all.

No offence but I think I would have posted them here

As Sam said, they arent worth much in Bangalore(unless you buy a brand new one from the showroom), I dont know about any other places. When I gor my rims changed to alloys the after market showroom guy offered Rs.500 for all the four. The tyre wala offered Rs.100 each!

Has 100 become a standard or what? My 16K km old Alto rims also sold for Rs100 / piece when I switched to Alloys.
I seriously wonder why do the new steel rims dont have any value? Any idea what is the cost of a new steel rim?

Abhi

Skoda sells them for Rs.800 a piece for a 15" rim. I guess in the open market they sell for around 4-500. So you can only imagine the trade in value for steel rims.

I guess they sell for around 800 bucks a piece. I wanted 4 rims (13 inch) for my esteem for the track day and was shopping around for a good deal. Every one quoted the above price but i finally ended up buying used ones for Rs. 400 each.

Abhi
Abhi, it is just a token amount given to you to make you feel happy. It is very very difficult to get rid of these rims.

Only 800 a piece for Skoda rims when other parts of the car are so costly.
Just for comparison the zen 13" steel rims cost 650 + tax...
