Could you please let me know the school in Pune? I'm in a similar boat as the OP. Thank you so much.

These are good attempts for sure. And in a populous country like India can you do only with social skills and not so much focus on academics. Guess none of us have the answer.
Have they been doing well in good engineering colleges or competitive exams here or is it that they have to necessarily move on a self funded trip abroad to be job ready? I have no idea about this.
Can those with limited means, who cant fund private education, afford educating their children here? Not sure. My feeling is they cater to a niche and will remain so.
They have some laudable methods and traditional schools can pick up some. May be they can also pick up building up competitive academic skills from traditional schools .

At Bangalore, we have PEP school in HSR Layout. My daughter has been there for 6 years now. It's a Montessori based education system; the system continues into higher grades as well. It covers most things that Silverfire talks about.

Both my kids go to Vidyakshetra and am pretty happy with the school. Please check out- http://vidyakshetra.org

I hadn't heard of these two schools, will look into it.

UPDATE: We have an appointment to visit Centre for Learning and this has been on the top of our list. They have opened up to 6 year olds recently, we will be visiting them next month, will update the thread after the visit.
