I have just registered with Hostdime: Dedicated Servers, Reseller Hosting, Dedicated Web Hosting

Originally a US company, but with an Indian office now, their prices/features seem great..

yaar,

godaddy, dreamhost sab se better is hawkhost.com

no bakwaas sensible hosting, and responsiveness is under half an hour by actual guys who run the site and not some less techie customer care or an autoresponder!

Net4India.com is really reliable but very costly.
3ix.org is the cheapest but unknown about its reliability.

I have more than 300 domains hosted at various hosting networks. They are currently hosted at Hostgator, BlueHost, MediaTemple & AvisSoftware. In the past i have used the following hosts and shifted from them.

1. Servage - Too many promises and 0 support

2. GoDaddy - Learnt it the hard way that one should always have his hosting and domains at different providers.

3. HostGator - Is overall good. I like that they allow monthly payments. Their Support is excellent but they suspend accounts if you are using more than allocated CPU even for 1 MIN.

4. BlueHost - Just like HostGator but does not allow monthly payments and their backups are old if your site is hacked or their server goes down. They claim weekly backups but its more like fortnightly

5. Media Temple - Does what they say!!!! Perfect hosting for people who have good web components sites running. Very fast and efficient.

6. Avissoftware - Second best to Media Temple. Last time i checked they were only hosting 350 domains per server so the server load was very less compared to godaddy, hostgator etc which sell in bulk. So a nice option if you are looking good clean host. AFAIK they accept payment in INR too.

Most of the sites i had on BlueHost are now shifted to Media Temple or Avissoftware. The sites which uses big Databases on HostGator are now on media Temple too.

I have taken a domain from Go Daddy, it just costed me some $10+ Tax. The web hosting will be free if u make a site through Google Sites.

First step is you should unlock the domain name so that you can transfer it from ZNET to other registrar. Then simple go to lets say Godaddy.com (Browser Update Page) enter domain name you want to transfer.

You can use coupon code GoDaddy Coupon Codes - all coupons, discounts and promo codes for godaddy.com to save money while transferring domain.

Hi Lohitrao

You need not transfer your domain name too ( until you have other problems with the hosting provider). You can simply put in the settings, provided to you by your new hosting provider, into your existing domain name control panel and you are done.

I did something like this recently as my domain name is registerd with yahoo and hosting is with godaddy.

Hope this helps

Avoid godaddy, I would suggest take either bluehost or hostgator, both have decent reviews. webhostingtalk forums usually give some honest reviews
