Same here! I mean, Hasselhoff is almost, well (I'm stretching it...) geriatric. I think Hugh Jackman, or some somebody like that would be good.

I agree the Trans AM suited the role. However the current american cars are just fat and ugly. This swedish car fits the bill in 2008. the Konnesgeggehs (sorry I hate the name and love the car) beat the Mclaren F1s production car record top speed. (now held by the B Veyron)

Muahahha - Same goes for Hasselhoff. Old and unfit for the job. I bet he will have cameo role though.

Oh come on guys, gotta evolve with the times. How would a transam look, chasing Z06's and Porsche 911's?

I am all for the new look and cant wait for it to release. BTW, I do have a DVD of the original which is watched atleast twice a year.

The Koeniqseqq...what a tongue twister for a name. Well the cars not bad and wil suit the bill and actually Knight Rider without either of the two; KITT the Transam or Hasselhoff the original Michael Knight would be a rather disappointment but we have to move with the times. Looking at Baywatch, i think that Hasselhoff has maintained himself. He would do nicely i think and one out of two originals would'nt be that bad. I loved that series. Guess they cant keep the original car as its dated and we all live in modern times. Besides that I remember in the Pilot episode whilst introducing Kitt to Michael, the girl goes...and it has a Computer with a memory of 2GB...wow at that time and today my cell phone has a 2 gb card !! How we move on

Something along the lines of the recent Starsky and Hutch ending.

Maybe walk in towards the end of the movie and say some corny line like "I used to have a car like that" or some rubbish.

Or he might be now the director of the Kitt Program.

I hope the guys from Ronin / Bad Boys / Italian job or Transporter work on this project. It better be one action packed car chase movie.

the perfect car would be a saleen s7 or the viper to suit the role or even the charger would be superb.

Oh yes of course. Apart from being additive, I always found it a bit haunting too. I have the full theme.

Haunting is the word Dippy. Yes to be precise it is haunting. Gave a feel of espionage to the whole thing.
