thay should have chosen an affordable sports car(something like the trans am)
Well maybe the Foundation for Law and Government can afford it

I wonder if Devon Miles will be part of this movie since the actor William Daniel has passed away sometime back from what I heard

I hope this will be the limit of the extent of his "involvement"

I wonder what car the villain will drive, or what car will BE the villain.

Righto. This thread has triggered immediate, logic-defying, irrational behaviour in me.

I find myself simultaneously downloading the original Knight Rider tune while humming it, trying to get my cousin to rip some episodes, cursing my ISP for not replacing my defective modem (have to access youtube you see), admiring the KOENIGSEGG CCX (fantasising more like ), dreaming up ways on how best to stick an LED strip on my front grille, wondering if David Hasselhoff can get himself to stay sober for the duration of the shoot. (na, i bet its a cameo me thinks) and yes, just saved that poster as my desktop background!

Koenigegg will definately have a wild sound but does everyone remember the sound made by KITT when used to drive by in cruise mode or in the chase scenes? Very unique. Will take some night pictures of my 1:18 KITT and post them here

I have some ordinary ones clicked in my living room for now.

Aaah. Nostalgia. KITT used to drive me crazy when I was a kid. First transformers, now this....superb.

Wonder when somebody's gonna come up with the movie edition of Street Hawk....

New KITT car for Knight Rider movie unveiled

"...the whole point of the new Knight Rider movie is that KITT is the coolest car ever created and people will do anything to get their hands on it. The car has a supercomputer capable of hacking other computer systems, weapons, and it's body can shapeshift and change colors thanks to nanotechnology (and the magic of television). Plus, the car has artificial intelligence so it is the ultimate crime-fighting machine.

As I said, there were three cars at the event. They presented the KITT remote first. It is a driverless Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR which can be remote-operated from up to a mile away.

The second car presented was the KITT Hero. It is the same make and model but it will play the part of the everyday car. They made a big deal about it having 540 horsepower too. I don't know much about cars so the information was lost on me. This car was driven by Justin Bruening and had the rest of the cast stuffed inside.

The last car presented was the KITT Attack. This is a super high-speed version of the Hero car. The stuntman drove this car out and did some circles that made lots of smoke. The circles of smoke were slightly more impressive than the big announcement about the horsepower."

Pics and more info here

Cheers
Wim

I do think they should choose a new Micheal Knight. David is too old for the part now.
He doesn't look that old though. He has a guest appearence in the movie "Kickin it old school (2007)". He plays himself driving around town in a KITT replica.

Here's a scene from the movie -
