LivetoJive, with 3 Veyrons already in India, you can look forward to a mouth-watering "pre-worshipped" deal .

1) I am not sure if I will be alive after 10 years or 7 years as this thread was started back in 2007.

2) If at all I am alive, I am not sure if I am rich.

3) If I am rich and alive, then I will be driving :

a) Landcruiser as a daily drive.
b) Porsche Cayenne as my own single person highway drive.
c) X5 as family highway drive ( i.e. If I have family ).
d) A V12 Twin turbo S class for high speed highway drive.

Re: The car you will be driving in 10 years

well 10 years down the line i should be capable enough of all these-
1. A 100 series or the new Landcruiser then for offroading and weekend office visits
2. A W140 S600 to admire its beauty and drive around for relaxation.
3. For track days a Porsche 911s and a White Yamaha R1
4. A Ford F-450/F150 raptor and a dodge challanger/charger/Ford mustang for the weekends and drags.
5. Some Hybrid ranging from a camry to the 7'er as my daily drive
Now my granny sees this and will probably yawn and ask me to buy a flat on getting a job after completing my education.

Re: The car you will be driving in 10 years

I really hope I will be driving a nano or even smaller car at that time. Basically my footprint on the world should be smaller and lighter at that time. Ideally no car, if possible.

Given the fuel prices rocketing I'll be driving some small base version EV or H2 powered car.

If all goes well, should be riding a bullock cart.
An open top cart (in other words an open cart), drawn by two heavily built bulls.

An Abarth 500 essesse if it ever shows up on our shores. Or I'd still use my current car.

10 years down the line I will be driving either a black RR Vouge or a white Q7 4.2 TDI.

What say to a second hand Jag or Aston or RR then?

At least this way the first owner would have taken the body blows of Taxes and Depreciation, so as a second hand user I can benefit to an extent....

However, ten years is a very long time....much can happen in that sort of time-frame and no one can predict anything at all.

Re: The car you will be driving in 10 years

10 years is a long time. Perhaps 5-7 years down the line I would want to see myself driving an Audi Q7 (or equivalent in 2020) if I do very well in my career. If I do average, I might be driving a Fortuner (Silver/Black).

Re: The car you will be driving in 10 years

Well a mix of bikes and cars.

1. A mint condition 1969 Dodge Charger (Yep! the one with rotating headlights) Primarily for weekend polishing and dragging with Vin Diesel !
2. A mini cooper for the missus and for those fun rides on highways and around town.
3. A CB1000R for speed runs.
4. A harley Fat Boy for highway touring.
5. A KTM Adventure 1190 for adventure touring.

Something tells me I need to settle in US to actually make this come true

I know one thing: I'll be riding a GS for sure!! No reason's going to take that from me. Whether my present GS or some other new technology GS, but its going to be a GS for sure!
