Jason Bourne or James Bond. Who's your favourite secret agent?

Ok, with the release of the latest Bourne movie this is a question that came to my mind.

Who do you guys like more? The Suave, Smooth operator Bond or the gritty, tough as nails character Bourne?

I like Bourne for his grit & ability to improvise despite the odds being against him. For eg. the scene in Bourne Supremacy where he fights his fellow agent with a rolled-up magazine & a ball-point pen!! Whereas, Bond needs his gadgets & guns & fancy cars to do the trick, Bourne uses his hands, surroundings & the most basic of things.

What do you guys think?

P.S. Added Austin Powers to the list too!

Rajnikant any day. Forget ball point pen and all. Can any of these guys get a scorpio to do a stoppie? Can any of these guys defy the laws of physics?

I think not. Has to be Rajnikant. lol.

Well - tough choice really !! But if Bond stays true to his new image in Casino Royale, the BOND it is. But I have not yet voted.

Ishan, maybe Ethan Hunt ought to be added to the list too?

Jason Bourne, anyday.

Why?
- He's more serious about his job.
- He doesn't need any gadgets to get the job done.
- He'll cost less as far as "expenses" are concerned.
- He seems to be wayyyyy more street-smart than Bond is.
- He doesn't need any support from "Home Base". Tell him what needs to be done and send him off. Its like the good old "Fill it, Shut it, Forget it".
- He doesn't waste time with women. (Talk about goofing off on the job -- Bond needs to get laid before he can get anything done!)

As N_C mentioned, if Bond stays true to what he became in Casino Royale (2006), then Bond definitely gets more brownie points.

i'd vote for both - James Bond and Jason Bourne.

James Bond for style, gadgets and cars. Oh and btw, in marathi, he's fondly called 'Janu Bande'
Jason Bourne for skill, rawness and the way Matt Damon has played the character. I wonder what can we call Jason Bourne in marathi

Yeah, we can imagine the sequence of events. You enter a bar & go "The name's Bond. Maggie Bond"

I'm sure the waiters will be laughing themselves to glory along with the rest of the guests

I like bond like daniel craig or sean connery. Roger moore imho was more suited to well.... ahem...

Jason bourne is about as raw the action gets. so my vote goes to jason bourne for now.

BUTTTTTT..... Super Star is something different altogether. Maybe a illogical in the action sequences, but there is something in all his movies ( except "baba" ) that gets people into the theaters.

I grew up watching Rajni's movies and still end up watching his new releases in the 1st or 2nd days. Can't reaaaally say whatz special, but guess thatz somethin only ppl down south are capable of doing...
