What ? you sold your esteem without the seats ? Man, that's quite skilful. So you put a steel folding chair in it & asked the buyer to sit on that ?

Here's the story of headers' aquisition of these seats.
A few months back, Headers owned a Mahindra CJ3B army 4x4 jeep. He wasn't too happy with the comfortable with the original army spec seats. So, for comfort and aesthetics sake, he bought a set of esteem front seats from our friendly, neighbourhood chor bazaar. He spent quite a bit on art-leather for them.
Eventually, he sold the jeep before which he reverted back to its original seats.

So, I highly doubt if he knows which esteem it came from. The colour of the leather is sandal.

Well..let me correct what nitrous has said..

The color of the seats are tan-orangish with black piping on it. It belongs to a 97 Esteem and I bought it from a friend..Not CHOR baazaar..

It is true that i fitted the seats on my Cj3B for a week or so and then decided to revert back to it original spec..

Hence the seats have been lying with me since.. The art leather working was done by Mehra Bros in Chennai, who are known for their excellent workmanship. I have built many vehicles with them. I have also spend close to 8K for the seats alone..and am expecting a reasonable price for the pair.

The reason why it came off my CJ3B was because it did not suit the army theme in which the jeep was..not comfort..Ofcourse Nitrous could'nt get in it..with those seats..

I can vouch for the quality of work on those seats. They look and feel great.

so looks like there are no serious takers..only jokers..who ask questions questions and questions..!!

Anyways..Kudos to the forum to know that guys just post for the sake of posting without relevance to the subject..

For Mods.. Pls change your rules of classifying the members .. not by post count but by the content and the knowledge they bring to the forum..

I'm sure then the quantity will come down and the quality UP!!
