Thanks a lot for your wishes, guys.

It has been 9 days since I last visited tbhp - just stumbled across this thread now. Nothing (not even work ) has kept me away from tbhp till date for such a long period. As the experienced among you rightly said, its gonna be a different life from now on. But I am loving every moment of it, even the sleepless nights.

Thanks once again.

I took the car out in my teens without my Dad's knowledge. Do you think the new-gen kids will wait for us to hand over the keys to them ?

Actually, he just missed it - we were expecting him on 2nd. It would have been nice to share his birthday with that of the Father of the Nation.

John, I think 'TheMag' just meant it in the true dictionary meaning of 'avid' which is "enthusiastic, keen, ardent etc", which does not necessarily translate into "good photographer".

Not yet, but soon will. BTW, can baby seats be used for infants too (I mean like a few weeks old baby) ?

@manek, will surely try for a meet to celebrate this. Though for the next few weekends, I will be off to see him at Kerala. Maybe should plan something mid-week.

we used a normal seat with head support cushions. the stupid manual said it's for 0-35 pounds baby. And i had to take him home from the hospital that day.

but they do sell bucket type seats with fully reclined position. becomes useless after 6 months though.

A basket type is available. Will be easy to carry the baby in the car. Will be of use only for a few months.

Supreme Baleno becomes a Daddy!!!! (Again)

We welcomed a new member (baby boy) to the family last week. We were hoping for a girl to complete the family, since we already have a 4-yr old son, but we are not complaining. Some snaps :

Sleeping blissfully after keeping us awake for 3 nights in a row.

Scrambling for names now, since we had only girl-names ready. Looking for a short and simple Indian 1st name (like Aman, as my elder son is named). Suggestions most welcome, guys !!!

Re: Supreme Baleno becomes a Daddy!!!!

Hearty Congrats, supremeBaleno !

This definitely calls for a celebration when you are back in Chennai : or , to begin with , maybe a Sunday morning Marina quickie meet?
