will chaning place affect warranty or after sales service?

Dear all,

i'm in chennai now and will be moving out of this city to coimbatore in a couple of months,max 6 months.
If i buy a car in chennai now and move to coimbatore, will the ford dealer in coimbatore service my car?
Will change of place affect any clauses of warranty or after sales support?
will i get same treatment from the coimbatore dealer that he will give to his customers?

the dealer in chennai says that there won't be any problem. but i'm bit concerned abt this. so thought wud take help from experts here in team-bhp.

pls help me with ur suggestions and experience.

appreciate ur time and help.

Warranty-Free Service are valid all over India, wherever you move..! Cannot say about same Treatment...

Logically, there shouldn't be a problem.

No, Warranty will not have any bearing with change of place within India.

It is advisable to inform your current dealer and intunr try get connected with dealer in the place where you are moving to.
