it went straight towards bangladesh - only parts of coastal bengal, parts of sunderban area in bengal were touched - but nothing severe.

it just rained a bit in Kolkata along with chilly wind. today it didnt even rain - but it is cloudy.

the govt started the evacuating yesterday but after 3pm IIRC.

Thats a relief I guess ... though I wonder how bad was it when it hit the poor Bangla boys ??? Any news of the havoc it created there , thats if it did create any .
