There is no thread available for enthusiasts to get info on the availability of old parts which are available in different parts of the country.This is the purpose of this thread so that BHPians can sell/give info on parts they wish to sell here

As many may be aware there are basically four category of Classic car parts
1.NOS(New Old Stock) original spares/OEM parts which have never been used but lying dust covered(?) in some shop/warehouse.EXPENSIVE but a CONCOURS restorers delight

2.Reproduction parts: New reproductions of the original parts

3.Refurbished parts: Used parts which have been serviced /restored and made working (includes Genuine items/old repros)

4.Used parts: generally sourced from scrap dealers/workshops,etc-Cheapest ,but risk of not working also exist

I have few NOS/refurbished Classic car parts for sale to genuine enthusiasts restorers

Would you please elaborate as to which parts they are and what car they belong to.

Nice idea Ajay.Definitely members are going through a very tough phase looking for spares for their vintage/classic cars

We look for more information on spares you have and Stanher wants to know whether you have any Standard car parts.

gogi, he is not a dealer. What he meant with this thread is that anyone can put their requests for parts here, if available, he'll get it. We could also exchange or trade between ourselves i think!

I didnt think he was a dealer and i know his intentions are good but he does have a few parts for sale as he said himself. Read the last line of his quoted post. Hence i asked for details on which he is still silent on

My uncle is looking for Down Draft Carburator for a 6 Cylinder and a 8 Cylinder engine and also a twin carborator (weber or Solex) for his Jaguar SS any help would be great .. I am trying to get the exact part no and the pics of the parts.
