Urgent Help Reqd: Need a Convertible in Delhi for half a day

Hi Friends,

I'm looking for a convertible to be used for a few hours on a wedding to be driven max about 50 kms

Although even a modern Import would do, I'm looking for something Vintage/70-80's looking, probably like a Cadillac or something.

Is it possible to borrow/ rent such a Car.

Any leads will be MOST appreciated - am kind of running short on time.

Regards,
Manveet.

Edit: Ideally, something like this would be Super-cool

Try Rent a car services, or the Service station at RK Puram just Before Munirka, Also Islam Motors at Pansheel....maybe this might help.

Apart from a Porche 911 and a Merc , the only convertible I have seen is a sanstorm in delhi

dissolve

I do not think a sudden mass exposure to New Delhi air via convertible automobile is wise. You all might dissolve. And, crystalized dessicated human remains found on the streets of Delhi are a public nuisance. Think of others for a change, 'ay?

None of these companies will have Classic/Vintage or infact, any convertibles to offer.

I have seen Limo's being used quite often, but never seen a convertible.
Anyways Hertz Delhi rents out mercs, you can check with them. There is an office on Barakhamba road.
If you can't find a convertible, you can rent a helicopter. Its becoming pretty popular in NCR

About 3 lakhs or something IIRC. Only thing is, the whole gimmick falls flat on your face if you haven't planned properly. One of the newly rich farmers found that out recently in Haryana - after much fanfare, the groom took off from his house by helicopter & proceeded to the bride's house which was a short ride away; all were ready at the bride's house to receive him with much fanfare but the ATC (Air Traffic Control) decided to play spoilsport and refused them permission to land.

So, the groom had to make a tame landing at IGI Airport Domestic terminal & ride a Mercedes to the bride's house
