It depends more on the vehicle. For some vehicles some colors does't suit.
Black and white suits to almost all the vehichles. Silver also suits to many vehicles. Yellow colored vehicle for e.g. Yellow Lancer will be really good looking. For this also it will be very good in cities but not in small towns. My preferred color is red (metallic or normal) but it should suit to the vehicle.

hey all out there you need to be honest.not like you like to see a black car maintained by your neighbour and you buy a silver one.this poll is to have an idea of the most popular color owned by all.even i like to see a black car but i have a red car for my personal preferences.so be truthfull in the poll.

I guess it all depends on the car and the type of person buying the car. I feel that steel grey looks really nice on some cars and is definatly better than the usual silvers and whites that you see on the road. Then again these colours are the easiest to maintain so I guess it makes sense to go in for that.

Own 4 cars, of which 3 are black. Guess that sums it up pretty well!

Second place is shared by two : White and Silver.

Silver is another color i like in cars. And if its a sports sedan, then yellow is another favorite!

Absolutely depends on the car. Got a red Palio but IMO, silver or other lighter shades do not make that car stand out. Black mainly suites cars which are big or curvy and rounded where Black Wagon R looks really bad to me for it being squarish in design.
However, for its universal appeal in most cases, my vote goes to Silver

all you have to do is first fix the most loved car by you and then in which color it looks best according to you.dont be worried about all the cars arround you.like santro looks nice in black,wagon r looks best in passion red,accent viva means passion red.etc etc.

Black is Beautiful, but hard to maintain!
And also not suited for Indian summers- A/C has tougher time cooling this coloured car compared to a lighter counterpart.
At nights, especially on highways, it is difficult spotting a black car than a lighter one.

Yellow or solid red for sports machine..

but due to profile & job nature...i would end up in Black :-)
