Super Car

HI

SAW A FANTASTIC PROGRAM ON SUPER CARS TODAY MORNING ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL. THEY SHOWED ALL THE CARS FROM ITS START TO ITS CURRENT SCENARIO. THEY DECLARED MCLAREN AS THE SUPER CAR WITH LAMBHORGINI, MERC, COMING BEHIND MCLAREN. I FEEL U GUYS SHOULD CHECK OUT WITH DISCOVERY FOR A REPEAT TELECAST. MAY BE GTO CAN HELP.

FELL IN LOVE WITH THE MCLAREN SHOWN AND THE SPEED IT COULD GO.

WILL INDIA EVER HAVE A ROAD WHERE A MCLAREN CAN BE DRIVEN FOR ITS FULLEST UTILISATION.

SHUBBHI

ya they were showing the Top 5 Cars on a programme called "Ultimate Cars":

5. Porsche Carrera GT
4. Ferrari F40
3. Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing
2. Lamborghini Miura
1. McLaren F1

Surprisingly, the Enzo or the Veyron wasn't in the list.

And I guess the only road where a supercar can be driven to almost its fullest extent is the Mumbai Pune Expressway! The reason I said "almost" because the roads are concrete and may offer less grip.

yeah i saw that show too, though i saw it yesterday night. And as far as roads are concerned, you might have noticed that in the show also, the McLaren F1 was being driven on runways and racing tracks to demonstrate its full potential.
I found the story about what inspired ferruccio lamborghini to setup his own car line quite amusing

Nice to see most TB members are scouting around TV channels looking for shows. Infact I had downloaded the show a while back from the internet, but was good to watch it again. What I hated was those smart arsey graphics all over the place. For once I agree with the Top 5, and in that order too.

I hope you guys seen the program just before this one.

It was about Richard Seaman, a man who is not so well known now, but was as big a hero as Mika Hakkinen or Michael Schumacher. An English hero in Germany specially during the troubled times between Germany And Great Britain.
