NO insurance cover. Sports car + (Owner with local license < 4 years old) = Only 3rd Party Coverage. My pockets may get significantly lighter.

Did they put in a clause linking the time one has held the local licence to the insurance cover available? This i didnt know.

Ouch! Heard about the flooding yesterday but never realised it was this bad! Sorry about the loss of your colleague.

Will say a prayer for your car. Afterall, this is the most powerful car i have ever been driven in! Or maybe this is sign to upgrade to the beast you featured sometime back. Cheer up.

Same thing happened in muscat due to the gonu cyclone. Muscat has a pretty good drainage system but it is completely sourrounded by mountains. The heavy rains bring a lot of water from the top of mountains called "Wadi's" they sweep cars like toys off the roads. The amount of water in heavy rains is usually too much for the small size of the drainaige systems in the gulf as the amount of rainfall at times is just negligible. hell its 45 degrees at times even in winter.

In which part of this region? Never heard of this!!! Winter is usually between 3 degrees and 17-18 in most places.

sad to hear this, Steeroid. what caused the engine block to crack? It was submerged, but a damage large enough to cause a crack baffles me
