"PS.It worked, however i guess the Florida thing is
simply a
diversion because new hotmail accounts are given 250
by default now.
So the trick is to actually "de-activate and
re-activate the
account" only !"

this way it did not work but using florida it worked...............
tnx buddy for shareing the info

Yup, the 250MB stays even after you change back to India.

hehe,
lets hope hyundai has not worked on Hotmail.otherwise like the Viva 100+horses, even this storage space will be 250MB only on paper, when in reality it wud be 2mb only.the remaining 248mb being invisible

My account got updated to 250 MB. And now i have loads of space in my hotmail as never before. Only problem is that the actual space used by each mail will be slighlty higher than what it was before, this i guess because of more fragmentation.
Its like this, You can one mail of size 250 MB, on other hand if u have 10,000 mails then it may total up to only 245 MB. You might lose out that 5 MB in fragmentation. But still this will be a huge space.
