Did anyone travel from cybercity side today towards Delhi in the evening? It was absolute madness below the flyover after say 7. I have rarely seen such mayhem. Seems the whole kapashera traffic decided to take the toll road today. Even after the toll traffic was quite heavy. The rajokri flyover was packed and vehicles were crawling. However under the rajokri flyover there was no traffic. Usually this is packed with traffic going through the lane towards kapashera border on the old Gurgaon road.

Surprising. I didnt realize there were SO many car owners who were not using the expressway because of the 21 rupee toll(??).
If true, then itll be the same thing every day, but at least there will be clear roads when you need to get in on time.
If not, then I suppose the mayhem will drive the non-regulars back to their old path.

Well I don't know if it was the kapashera traffic or what, but it took me 15 minutes just trying to come out of building 10 C Cyber city to the highway. Then another 20 minutes to half n hr from there to the road where Udyog vihar traffic joins the highway. From then on it was smooth till Rajokri flyover starting. On the flyover and after it was packed again. I however took off from below the flyover which was clear. This kind of blockage on the NH below the flyover near cyber city and udyog vihar I have seen only during rains. Now was this a one off issue or is this a fall out of freeing the toll I don't know.

Morning however it was pretty smooth.

Gurgaon Expressway to be toll-free for private vehicles in morning and evening

New Delhi: The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday ordered that private vehicles on the Gurgaon Expressway will not pay toll taxes between 8.30 am and 10 am and 5.30 pm and 7 pm.

The ruling will come into effect at 7 pm on Friday.

The private vehicles, however, will be charged from 7 pm onwards, the court order said.

This is just till the 3rd of October right? Another hearing is scheduled then which will decide the fate of the commuters.

I paid toll today at 5 am. Its operational. God bless!!
