No it doesnt

Somehow, it is not to my taste. And it's a little expensive for the stuff you actually get.

Kabab Magic, or Kabab Wala? I remember the name as being the latter. You talking about the one near Total, right? They make shawarmas with roomali roti.

Yes Kabab Wala opp Total, I think Magic is the branch in Koramangala.
Yes, they make with Roomali roti, the Indian form of the Arabian Chicken roll.

But the Tikka Roll here is really awesome and filling.

I remember this place. It was almost a stall, not so much a restaurant. It must have closed down in the early 2000s, because I remember going there in like '98 or something.

You cannot beat a 6 inch sub for 60 bucks, taxes inclusive. And you have to figure out the sauce combination, then it's amazing. Also, reasonably healthier than most other fast food.

It still exists.
I never went there since I am a vegetarian, but I visit the sweet shop next door for some chats.

Just to let you know that it still exists.

Had been to South Indies yesterday for lunch. Its located on 100 Feet Road, Indiranagar. Actually its my second visit there. Went there for the Buffet Lunch. Rs. 250/- was the charge. Way too expensive, mediocre food, small spread. I would have had a better lunch at Maharaja/Krishna Cafe/Annapoorni for 1/3rd of that price !!!

I wouldn't even want to take a foreigner for an Indian lunch there !!!

Similar to Kairali 'coz I see the old chef who worked in Kairali in this
place!!!

Its been years since I went to Kairali. Great fare.

Athira was another mallu place behind christ, good beef and fish fry. They shut long long ago.

The Church street place shut around 2000/01 I guess. It was called Arabian Food Corner. Ah the good old days.. lots of memories there.
