Meenakshi tiffin room - Bangalore

Been to Meenakshi tiffin room in Basavanagudi(DVG Road) last weekend for breakfast. What a splendid list of menu they have. The special Sagu Dosa and the regulars like Masala dosa, Idli, vada, Jamoon, Carrot halwa and kesaribath among which I liked the Sambar a lot.
Last but not the least Coffee is a wonder too.
Do try out!

Visit "The Only Place" on Museum Road and trust me! This is the only place for yummy juicy steaks around Bangalore.

If you really want to taste chats, you should head towards the western side of India starting from Belgaum, Kolhapur...and all the way upto Mumbai. The taste is so yummy and unique, its hard to find the same in the southern cities. Its not to say that the tastes here are bad but they are definitely very different. People who have been tasting the Maharastrian style of chats may not appreciate the chats here specially in Bangalore.
Well, i have tasted the maharastrian chats(used to travel frequently on the b'lore - m'bai - b'lore stretch), but i still prefer what i get in b'lore. To each his own, for me any day it is what i get in b'lore.

I definitely have to get me one of these! Sammyboy, would you like to meet up sometime again, somewhere near the Koramangala BDA Complex?

You could try the Grille House near Ulsoor Lake/Taj Residency, or Millers-46 on Miller's Road, or even The Only Place on Museum Road as suggested by aa_asif. You get great steaks and sizzlers at all these places!

Happy munching!

Great! Sounds like a plan! However, I hope Shahis is open during the end of Ramadhan/Eid. Last year, I'd gone there around the same time and it was closed for 3 straight days!

Yup, to each his own.

Talking of chats, I happened to saw a joint named Mumbai masala just ahead of Shivananda circle towards Sampige road. Anybody tried that?

Miller's 46 on Queen's road is the place you should try. You can also try their Chicken wings, one of my all time favourites whenever I visit this place

If you are coming from Ramakrishna Ashrama circle on Gandhi Bazaar road, take a left on DVG road and continue towards Vani Vilas Road. You should find it on your left side.

From Vani Vilas road, if you are coming form the K R Road flyover (towards Ramakrishna Ashrama circle), take a left immediately after the flyover.
