Strength ? I don't think Sam was showing off his strength then, saving his skin from getting scalded :D
Jesus Christ! I could never ever get myself a tattoo. The making of it looks so gory. I am sure this form of art must have orignated from some sadist king torturing his enemies by branding them.
And talking about fatless parts - I once did a hard braking test on a concrete basketball court after landing from a height of 4 feet on my kneecaps. I left some bloody knee-cap marks on the court and had a painful knee cap for the next couple of years. I had to just tap slightly on the knee cap to give myself a shot of pain.

As someone rightly pointed out, do not consume alcohol. Alcohol thins the blood and will increase the bleeding during the process. |
Everytime i hear of or see tattoos being done there is usually alcohol involved in the story - and i think of this line.
Though in a recent discussion with a friend a very valid point was raised.
Alcohol dehydrates you, (
frequent trips to the mens room) therefore it must be removing water from the blood right ?
The amount of alcohol in the blood <0.4% is not really enough to "dilute" the blood is it? especially in comparison to the amount of water your body will get rid of with every trip to the mens room/streetcorner on the walk home.
Is there reasoning for your statement that i have missed?

I assure you from experience, a very drunk man bleeds more than a sober one. No tattoo artist ever recommends getting a tattoo if quite drunk.
probably alcohol does not thin blood but blocks clotting.
doctors on the forum?

I had the oppurtunity to see a 6 foot something 200lbs+ russian guy wince and finally pass out from the pain. Also I think he might have had a little too much to drink and the excessive bleeding made him dizzy.
The only time I was gritting my teeth was when I could feel the needle tapping my spine, the guy had a light hand though which helped :thumbs up
The ball socket of the ankle area is kind of suicidal... Probably like one's rib cage / collar bone

Im not doubting it, i just want to know the
reason for the increased bleeding...

Hmmm, that is another interesting possibility, in addition to "thins your blood" theory.
Also, a quick google search mentioned that alcohol might cause capillaries to expand = hence more bleeding.
Still dont know which of the above are true / confirmed however.
Lets see if anyone can offer a scientific/medical opinion.

Do you guys know what a "tramp stamp" is? If not, look it up on Wikipedia/Google.
The worst thing that can ever happen to a guy is that if you get drunk and get one of those yourself. Then you are doomed for life (unless you get it removed).
This is what i was serching for.
