From the electronic city area at peak time, the time taken to drive to Chennai airport and the new BIAL airport is almost same. Considering the user fee of Rs 1000+ per head in BIAL, Chennai seems a better option if the number of travelers is at least 3 !!

Car parking fees have been priced at Rs.40/- for two hours and Rs.20/- for every additional hour in the general parking area. For overnight parking, Rs. 300 will be charged for the first 24 hours and Rs. 200 for every additional day. Passenger drop off at specified zone is free for upto 10 minutes.

Porter service was planned as an additional service offering for travelers with large number/size luggage. Trolleys will be present as usual. However they may charge some amount for trolleys like in many airports abroad.
