Is UTI covered by RTI?

Hi

I need to get a refund back from UTI for my ULIP investment but its been 7 months and multiple trips/letters to their office for no avail. I am considering whether to take RTI/Consumer forum route. Any ideas if RTI covers UTI? Any other suggestions will be most welcome...

Thanks.

Hi LLL
I guess you should be contacting the Banking Ombudsman for any issues with the Bank. I took the same route for a Banking issue with HDFC and it was resolved pretty quick.

Check this link:
Reserve Bank of India

hope this helps

Yep, i would have done the same but this is not UTI/Axis Bank. This would be UTI-TSL or SUUTI...
