Basically this:

Bajrang Dal workers smear black paint on the faces of a youth and foreigner woman, who were celebrating Valentine's Day in Bhopal. (PTI Photo)

Note: Other photos are irrelevant. I don't why, of all days, Shiv Sena hates Feb 14th.

They hate it more this time. Opposition to this will help divert attention from the Raj episode.

they have the pictures. if india (that includes judiciary, police, and public) can not prosecute these saffron clad hooligans for violating somebody's civil rights, it has no reason to call itself shining.

we are still living in medieval times.

We try so hard to get foreign tourists into our country. IMO the whole Incredible India campaign is a waste of foreigners are going to be raped and harassed.

Totally agree with you. Seems like the age old ideas & concepts haven't left the minds of certain sects. Its good to harbor a few of those concepts, but not the outrageously ridiculous ones!

Now there is a twist to this story. The couple were already married & the female is a Bajrang dal activist. They just did this drama to scare away other couples.

Source : Times of India

But yes, all this is shamefull. Even in N.Delhi, an outlet of Ferns n Petals was attacked yesterday by Shiv Saniks

Two freshly graduated monks were returning from their guru. "Do not even look at females" was on the list of strict no-nos from their guru to them. On the way, they had to cross a stream, and a damsel was waiting for help to cross it. One of them carried the damsel across to the other side.

The monks walked along in silence. After a longish time of silence, the guy who carried the damsel was asked why he broke the guru's instructions.

The reply "I left her on the banks of the stream a long time back. Why are you still carrying her?"

These zealots would do well to remember that hindutva is about inclusiveness. If Vatsyayana and his Kama Sutra are part of our cultural heritage we certainly can live with Saint Valentine.
