[size=2]Need suggestions and advice to buy a used car. I am using a 800 and want to upgrade to a midsize car as my family is growing and prefer esteem. The budget is 1.4 to 1.7 lakhs, which model can I go for?

Well, considering the Bangalore markets, you would get a '96 to '98 model Esteem.

as shravan316 said u could go in for a 96 - 98 model which will easily come into r budget....

Hmmm... having bought a second hand esteem recently, I think for that price you would get the LX variant without the power windows and power steering. Also depends on where you stay. The rates in bangalore seem to be a little higher than everywhere else.

I approached some dealers and they are asking for 2+ for 98' LX. The price is again high for VX. wat abt the maintenance cost and running cost?
