Hiring a driver

Does anyone know how much I should be paying a driver? I am planning to hire one for MON to FRI, 10hrs/day with driving time of about 2-3 hours.

This is the first time I am trying this, hence the question. Are there any other implications of hiring a driver besides checking his licence and his driving record?

Mumbai guys who have drivers, please respond.
